Our greatest needs are funding our ever-growing curriculum requests into new school districts as well as serving our most urgent survivor needs through the use and care of our emergency safe home which we have just opened this spring. The funds we raise at Tea and Top Hats will directly address the urgent need for a home we are outfitting to move survivors towards restoration and the curriculum we are developing for state wide use mandated by state law but currently not available in the classrooms.
AbolitionNC more than ever needs the local community to partner with us and stand up for freedom on behalf of these individuals held in slavery. Tea and Top Hats, our fourth annual fundraiser, will be held on September 22 at the Greensboro Country Club from 4 to 7pm. The event will showcase some of the area’s finest silent and live auction items, a fun filled tea party with exciting hats galore, a fantastic program highlighting our goals for the year, and features Kelley Alsobrooke, national speaker and victims' advocate, as our keynote speaker. Would you be willing to support our cause so that we might free these captives?
Your business's sponsorship would make a significant difference to our cause by equipping us to care for the increasing number of survivors that are coming our way as well as preventing youth from the horrors of slavery.
